On 14 May 2019, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the seminar "Circular Economy - How to do it?" will be held. The seminar is organized by the Czech Association of Circular Economy, z.s. in cooperation with the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.
What will you learn at the seminar?
In the first part of the seminar we will discuss the possibilities of further separation and recovery of municipal waste, including a brief description of energy recovery. Next, we will focus on paper recycling and the possibilities of its further use or what metal recycling entails and why it is an important element of the circular economy.
After a networking lunch, the seminar will continue with a session on recycling plastics, tyres and glass. The lectures will conclude with the topic of batteries and accumulators as sources of critical raw materials. We will say goodbye to the seminar with a joint panel discussion followed by a final networking session with refreshments.
Who will speak at the seminar?
Many experts from the sphere of the circular economy will speak at the seminar. In the first session you can look forward to, for example Dipl. Ing. Zdeněk Horsák, Ph.D.D., who as CEO of SUEZ Využití virov, a.s. will speak on the topic of "Circular economy in practice", or on Ing. Rostislav Čap from Veolia By-products ČR, s.r.o., Ing. Jan Svátek, MPA of Pražské služeb, a.s. and Tomáš Voltr from EF-Group, a.s.
On the topic of paper recycling, Mr. Pavel Sádlo from ACCP and Mr. Ing. Mojmír Urbánek from CIUR, a.s.
The block of seminars focused on metal recycling will be conducted by Mr. Ing. Tomáš Mosler, Ph.D. D. and Mr. Mgr. Ivo Dubš from the company DEMONTA Trade SE.
In the plastic recycling section you will be able to listen to the gentlemen Ing. Ondřej Oliva from the company SUEZ Využití virov a.s. a Ing. Jiří Hájek, MBA, who will focus their lectures on special technologies of plastics processing, and in the section of recycling not only tyres Mr. Ing. Jakub Bělík z RPG Recyckling.
The seminar will conclude with lectures on "Good practice in glass recycling" by Mr. Marek Novák, MBA and "Management of Used Batteries in the Circular Economy" Mr. RNDr. Petr Kratochvíl.
