Czech Republic has increased biomethane production, but not yet enough to meet the European average

According to a statistical report by the European Biogas Association (EBA), biomethane production in Europe will reach a record 4.9 billion m3 in 2023, an increase of 21% year-on-year. The Czech Republic is planning mandatory sorting of gastro waste. The decree should be in force in the first months of 2025
