In the sense of the principles of the circular economy, our aim is to use the waste energetically, as opposed to simply depositing it in a landfill, where the VEP - energy by-products (mainly slag) - are then usable, for example, in the construction industry. It is therefore about closing that imaginary circle - nothing becomes waste...
Another advantage is that the energy recovery of suitable waste will enable such an important shift away from coal-fired power - a prerequisite for a real fight against greenhouse gas emissions. And all this is happening under conditions that will allow to maintain acceptable prices of heat supply from CHP for hundreds of thousands of households in the Czech Republic.
