VŠCHT Praha and INCIEN open applications for the third year of the Circular Economy Lifelong Learning Course. The expert partners of the course are SUEZ Využití virov a.s., Association of Circular Economy and Veolia Česká republika, a.s.
The course brings participants the latest information in a field that creates new opportunities for the development of companies and society as a whole, but also helps them to develop their own business in line with reducing environmental impact.
The third edition starts in September 2019 and ends in May of the following year. In total, the course will offer 11 Friday full-day teaching blocks and is concluded with a certificate of completion. The course also includes a two-day excursion to South Moravia, where participants can enjoy, for example, a visit to a plastics waste recycling line, a sorting line or a biogas plant.
Along with more than 60 lectures, excursions to the central wastewater treatment plant in Prague, the waste-to-energy facility and the energy-efficient and innovative Corso Court building will also take place during the year. More than 35 lecturers, renowned academics or professionals from practice, will take turns in teaching.
The course puts a strong emphasis on combining theoretical and practical knowledge, so during the course participants will have the opportunity to test their newly acquired knowledge by working on their own projects. They can apply the new information and experience in their own business or use it as inspiration to implement their ideas.
The expert guarantor of the course is associate professor Vladimír Kočí, dean of the Faculty of Environmental Technology at the University of Technology in Prague and a leading Czech expert in the method of life cycle assessment - LCA. The third year of the course will take place under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment. Practical information and registration can be found on the course website.
You can register until 31 July 2019 or until the course is full.
