The Czech Association of Circular Economy, z.s., is a voluntary, apolitical and self-governing association of natural and legal persons who are interested in saving primary resources, reducing costs in companies and, last but not least, reducing negative impacts on the environment and human health and preserving the added value of products for the future.

Join us at the start of the revolutionary transition from linear to circular economy and participate in the expert discussion.

In its statutes, the ČAObH has set as its mission the conservation of primary resources and the reduction of negative impacts on the environment and human health, specifically in reducing the amount of unusable waste and generally in promoting the principles of circular economy.

Be part of a platform bringing together leading experts and top managers in the field of natural resource conservation who are considered to be the guarantors of the circular economy.

In order to consistently achieve these visions, the association strives to promote better material recovery of waste, along with a continuous reduction of the amount of waste that is not used for material and energy recovery and ends up in landfills.

Join us in arguing for a change in the approach to natural resources and the promotion of the principles of circular economy in the production and consumption practices of the Czech Republic, to end the system of landfilling, which is unfortunately still the most economically advantageous option in the Czech Republic.

CABH is dedicated to the practical development of circular economy principles by supporting innovative projects in organisations. CAObH provides technical assistance and support to individual entities in the application of circular economy and the efficient use of materials from waste, secondary raw materials or waste and declaration of fair waste management.

Be part of good practice examples in promoting circular economy and responsible resource management. Take an active role in protecting natural resources.

In addition to general work to develop circular economy principles, the CAB aims to work for the needs of specific sectors. Therefore, it works within the framework of clusters.
Currently, these are the Packaging, Waste Energy Utilisation and Construction clusters. We welcome those interested in starting other clusters (please express your interest in the application form).
If you want to get involved in the work of the clusters, become a member of a cluster. How to do it?

Membership in any cluster means that a member of the cluster does not have the rights of a member of the Association to vote and be elected to the Association's bodies, his or her ability to advance his or her priorities is limited by how often the autonomously operating cluster meets, in accordance with the Bylaws, and whether a majority of the cluster members recommend that the Association's leadership address this or that issue. And these are often, in a way, competing technologies.

The main advantage of just being a member of the cluster is a lower payment of the membership fee of the cluster member, which is 75.000, - CZK per year.

Who can enter? Members of the cluster can become natural and legal persons from the fields of primary resource saving, use of secondary raw materials, waste recovery for material or energy recovery.

How to proceed:

1. Fill in the application form - below on the download page - and send it to milos.kuzvart@obehove-hospodarstvi.cz.

2. The application shall be considered and approved by the Executive Committee of the CAObH at its next meeting.

3. Within 6 weeks of submitting the application, the applicant is notified of the acceptance (We only reject applicants who implement or promote practices contrary to the principles of the circular economy that the CCAbH clusters plan to promote and implement).

4. Membership fee: due to the time of joining, an adequate amount is always paid on the date of joining, e.g. on 1 July it is always half of the annual membership fee. There are three amounts of the annual membership fee: for commercial entities the ANNUAL fee is 300.000, - CZK. For group memberships - associations, unions, etc. the annual fee is 30.000, - CZK. For academic members - colleges, universities - it is 10.000, - CZK annually.

5. After fulfilling this basic obligation of a member, the new member is invited to nominate his/her representative to the advisory boards of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, where the ČAObH is a collective member, is informed about events such as participation of the association at conferences, trade fairs, etc.

Support the principles of the circular economy with concrete arguments on the basis of your expertise.

Contribute your own example of good practice, whether from manufacturing, business, municipal or even personal consumer practice, to declare fair waste management in your organisation.

Help us to create a favourable environment for the circular economy in terms of legislation and economic conditions.

The selection of cluster members shall be based on their potential to contribute to the development of the circular economy in the areas of technology, legislative and economic instruments and marketing to support the development of the circular economy in the area of the planned cluster activities. Admission to the cluster is decided by the Executive Committee in the same way as for full membership.
